Roles and Responsibilities

An Order Picker, or Picker Packer, is responsible for reading incoming orders and selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery. Loaders typically work in warehouses, where they prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming goods by loading and unloading trucks, trailers and shipping containers. When a vehicle arrives or departs the warehouse with freight, a loader checks route schedules and orders for accuracy. Driver Stick to a schedule and be time-bound on the job. Follow the prescribed routes most convenient for delivery. Load and unload the vehicle as needed. Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness. Collect payments whenever necessary.
