About CompanySuzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited (SMGPL) is an automotive manufacturing plant owned by Suzuki Motor Corporation. Located in Hansalpur, Becharaji village of Mandal Taluka in Ahmedabad District, it is the first and the only Suzuki automobile manufacturing plant in India that is wholly owned directly by Suzuki as a foreign company. The plant supplies vehicles to Maruti Suzuki in the domestic market and to overseas markets. The plant was opened on 1 February 2017 and has a total annual capacity of 750,000 units. The plant has helped Suzuki achieve exports of 2 million units from India.

Stipend – Rs 11,000 per month.Monthly attendance award – 600 ( if leave is nil during the month )
Semester attendance reward (Paid every six months) - Rs.1800/-(If total leave is 3 or less than 3 in six months)
ITI trade: Automotive Technician Course completion reward (Paid after 2 years) - Rs.7200/- (If total leave is 24 or less than 24 in 2 years)
A hostel (dormitory) facility is provided to all the students within the proximity of the factory. Per month hostel charges around Rs. 1000/-.
The students will be provided with Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner, and two cups of tea during their OJT shift. Food during the shift is provided at a subsidized cost.

Students need to be necessarily in uniform during their course hours. SMG provides a Personal Accident cover of Rs. 12, 00,000/-.
On successful completion of training and NCVT examination, Student Trainee will get National Trade Certificate (NTC) from NCVT.
After completion of 2-year training, depending on the performance, maintaining minimum 95% attendance during the period, recommendation of the department, and based on business requirements these trainees are eligible for Fixed Term Contractual (FTC) employment for 7-month duration.
Successful completion of the NCVT examination is also required for joining FTC.
