Post Name: Forging Press Operator (JOB Code: RFP_002) Qualification: Diploma/ITI (Mechanical Metallurgy/Fitter) Experience: 2 to 6 years Roles & Responsibilities: Perform the press set-up including any changes or adjustments at the beginning of each production run. Verify the press is set up correctly and safely at the start of each shift. Check the die and stock temperatures with an infrared gun and temperature sticks before running the press.Operate the forging press at the operating console, Labricate die surfaces and stock/partsClean die with the airbrush (angle and in-line tool) at times of lube build-op.Maintain accurate part counts of current production.Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per job-specificationMaintain focus on tasks throughout a scheduled shift,Report any equipment or facility defects or mechanical dysfunctions to the Supervisor.Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.
