Eligibility

Experience: 3 to 13 years

Qualification: B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, ITI, Diploma

Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Production Activities

• Manage gelatin mass preparation, encapsulation using rotary die machines, drying, inspection, polishing, sorting, and packing of softgel capsules.
• Ensure seamless operation of encapsulation machinery and related equipment.

2. Equipment Handling

• Operate and maintain gelatin melting tanks, encapsulation machines (Technophar, SGM, or equivalent), tumble dryers and inspection systems.
• Perform cleaning and changeover tasks in accordance with SOPs.

3. Documentation

• Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), logbooks, and follow Good Documentation Practices.

4. Compliance & GMP

• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs, and participate in audits and validations.

5. Quality Control

• Conduct in-process quality checks and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for deviations.

6. Safety & Hygiene

• Adhere to safety protocols handling gelatin, oils, and APIs and maintain cleanroom standards.

7. Teamwork & Training

• Assist in training junior staff and coordinate with maintenance and quality departments.
